I dressed up as the sun and passed out “Happy Tabs” that I designed to brighten Monday mornings in NYC on the corner of W 44th Street and Broadway/Viacom. Each label had something comical to lighten each person’s day. The first 50 people received clown noses and pirate eye patches.

I  made a book encompassing the life of my grandmother and then presented it to my grandfather.

Art Speaks encompasses empowering students at schools facing disparity in certain areas of Palestine by engaging them in expressing their feelings in what they really want and need and envision for their future.
By using existing materials and classrooms, old students will have art workshops with preschoolers. Using a similar strategy to Story Corp., students will privately make audio recordings that will be paired with the student’s art work to create videos.

The videos will then we uploaded on a gallery page of the Speaks website to share with a greater audience putting their stories and wishes out there and giving them a voice. By looking at patterns and seeing key or repeating words these videos can be used to explore the commonalities amongst the students.

Stefan Sagmeister asked us to design something typographically based on what we’ve learned in our lives so far. The saying I chose was the best investment is yourself. I created my type out of sticks and then slowly burned each one until the entire say ignited into fire while I roast a marshmallow over the fire.
