With the holiday in mind I recently strolled through Columbus Circle’s holiday market and came across the booth for The Walking Art that literally had amazing works of art. This vendor had paintings with photographs and objects collaged on top of the, photo collages, and etchings just to name a few of the unique work of a variety of artists. I purchased some art for myself and as gifts. I really loved their work!
Last night I went to Metuchen’s Junebug Arts Festival. Metuchen’s Main Street was filled with artists and their work. There was a variety of work including paintings, illustrations, drawings, people drawing caricatures, and live music! I would definitely love to participate in this next year.
A co-worker at work sent me this today at work. This is a photo from the 2009 Inauguration. You can scan, double click and zoom to any section of the crowd and the focus adjusts. This picture was taken with a robotic camera at 1,474 megapixel.
