Today I came across a magazine tear from Fast Company for some time ago and thought I would still share. Zo-Loft design developed a Din-ink  series of Bic pen tops which allow you to instantly convert the pen into ready made cutlery. Each pen cap is a fork, spoon or knife head. How eco-friendly and an interesting way to use an everyday product.

Nike’s Reuse-A-Shoe program allows people to donate their old worn athletic sneakers to be recycled and turned into part a basketball court, track, field, playgrounds or even new sneakers. You can donate any brand sneaker to any Reuse-A-Shoe collection center or shoe drive.

Green Depot was another stop on our Cool Hunting tour. Green Depot is a store which carries environmentally friendly, sustainable and “green” products. I really enjoyed the design of the interior space as well as the packaging design of the various products. I also thought the use of type with the paint cans was very interesting and instantly grasped my attention.
