Our last stop on the Cool Hunting tour was The Smile on Bond Street. The Smile is a cafe and store consisting of specialty items consisting of teas, lotions and other goods that you typically wouldn’t find in most stores. This space consists of a retail/general store, cafe and a tattoo parlor which is in the process of being build. Definitely worth checking out.
I attended Behance’s The 99 Percent Conference and on Day 2 of the conference I was fortunate enough to be able to participate in Cool Hunting’s “On The Hunt.” Cool Hunting’s staff took us to a variety of places in Brooklyn and Manhattan. One of my favorite places we went to was Fred Flare. Fred Flare sells home decor, accessories, books, jewelry, stationary, and a whole bunch of knick nacks.
