Today during lunch I decided to take a to the Apple store on 5th Avenue to see the new iMac’s in person. The quality of both these monitors are ridiculous. The 27″ is phenomenal from the monitor, processor speed and memory especially for it’s starting price tag of $1699 with many expansion options. The mouse was flawless. I absolutely loved it and asked when it would be sold separately. They said it should be within the next month and for $69. My life would not be the same or as efficient without Apple products.

I keep bringing up the concept of retailers engaging with their consumer to form a brand relationship. Gap, Inc. has done with their iPhone app Mix Not Match. This app allows the user can scroll through the different outfits on a model right on your iPhone. You have the ability to create and then select the outfit where it then separates the pieces of clothing that you can add to a gift list or your shopping chart. The functionality of this app allows the viewer to create a look they like and then order it instantaneously. What is even more interesting about this app is that a contest was held for iPhone software developers to create an application that embodies the clothing and apparel brand’s preppy style. This continues to show that Gap has a relationship with their consumers to help represent the brand. via Mobile Marketer.

So I have been on the search for a a new laptop bag for my new MacBook Pro. I have been researching on the web, recommendations from people, etc. and I came across BUILT NY. They have everything for your personal storage needs. BUILT NY draws inspiration from the city that never sleeps – and the locals and visitors that inhabit their Soho neighborhood. What a great form of inspiration! This is one of the two I am interested in the additional sleeve just may have sold it to me. I will keep you all posted. Also there may be a new messenger bag in the works but that one is to good to show yet in addition to some really cool branding! Stay tuned.
