A few days ago a friend of mine told me he saw a Zamboni driving in the streets on Manhattan. Yeah the machine that comes out and resurfaces the ice in hockey games on the streets of Manhattan?! The NHL was promoting a new video video game NHL 2K10 by having Alex Ovechkin drive a NHL branded Zamboni up 6th Avenue to the NHL Store. It was a pretty unique advertising strategy.
