However the spreads are on One Day For Design. One Day For Design brings together a global community of designers and design enthusiasts to exchange ideas, challenge viewpoints and push boundaries-collaborating in real time on the future of our profession and the organizations. I love the idea in this. I will be participating. I hope you will too.

My passion for food, design and technology was all met in one at this site. Immaculate Infatuation provides reviews of restaurants in NYC from non-food critics. This site allows the user to search by cuisine, neighborhood, and for what type of occasion. Immaculate Infatuation gives you the run down of the restaurant, atmosphere and menu and also advises you of what else is near each restaurant.

While in London on a bus I passed Percento restaurant and it’s signage really stood out to me. I really appreciated the type treatment as well as the design of their logo and signage.

I was recently at a Borders bookstore and came across this recipe book that truly embraced the culture through the design of the book and the way it was packaged. Another lovely book design published by Phaidon.

Today I came across a magazine tear from Fast Company for some time ago and thought I would still share. Zo-Loft design developed a Din-ink  series of Bic pen tops which allow you to instantly convert the pen into ready made cutlery. Each pen cap is a fork, spoon or knife head. How eco-friendly and an interesting way to use an everyday product.
