Beijing Noodle No. 9 at Caesars Palace

Beijing Noodle No. 9 located in Caesars Palace Las Vegas caught my eye due to the walk through entrance flanked by gigantic fish tanks leading into a dinning area. The walls and ceiling have a clear cut out pattern which also drew me in. The restaurant space engages the customer on many levels. Dezeen has a more specific breakdown of Beijing Noodle No. 9′s restaurant space and design.

AOL Rebranding

You’ve Got Mail! That was the sound of  first days of the internet for me. AOL has now taken their brand to the next level. A more creative everyday feel has been incorporated into their new look. It almost gives off an MTV vibe. It should be exciting to see what happens with AOL’s rebranding. The rebranding was done by Wolff Olins.

The Ex Voodoo Knife Block

With the holidays approaching this is a great gift idea! This well designed, humorous knife block will definitely look beautiful on any kitchen counter top. Designed by Raffaele Lannello the man knife holder comes complete with five quality stainless steel knives included and is avaliable in red, black, pink, white, chrome or gold effect finishes. The Ex Voodo Knife Block will definitely be a conversation starter. This can be purchased in the US at Amazon.com and other online stores.

American Psycho

I’ll never forget the business card scene in American Psycho. This was probably the best part of the movie. A group of business men discussing the printing effects and design of their business cards. Now why doesn’t this happen in real life?

Thomas Pink

Last Thursday and Friday Thomas Pink gave out 1,000 men’s and women’s  dress shirts to promote USA’s new TV show White Collar.
They had tailors to custom fit the shirts at the Madison Avenue location as well as cast members from the show. This is a unique use of partnership and branding.

Apple iMac ::: Up Close and Personal

Today during lunch I decided to take a to the Apple store on 5th Avenue to see the new iMac’s in person. The quality of both these monitors are ridiculous. The 27″ is phenomenal from the monitor, processor speed and memory especially for it’s starting price tag of $1699 with many expansion options. The mouse was flawless. I absolutely loved it and asked when it would be sold separately. They said it should be within the next month and for $69. My life would not be the same or as efficient without Apple products.

Apple 27″ iMac

Seriously what a work of art. Apple’s release of the new iMac, multi-touch “magic” mouse and wireless keyboard! Both the magic mouse and wireless keyboard come standard.  It also now includes an SD card slot on the side of the computer. The screen is 1080i and quality beyond HD. Just by watching the video I felt like I was inside whatever the screen was displaying. Of course everything is better and faster. It comes in both 21.5″ and 27″ displays. I love Apple…I am drooling as I look at this beautiful beast!

The Icon Pillow Collection

So I came across these wonderful Mac OS doc icon pillows. I now believe in love at first sight. I absolutely love these! Throwboy created these awesome pillows as well as a bunch of others consisting of RSS, chat and halloween themed doc icon pillows. The set is $149 or $29 each. This would make an excellent gift for the holidays.
