Art Speaks

Art Speaks encompasses empowering students at schools facing disparity in certain areas of Palestine by engaging them in expressing their feelings in what they really want and need and envision for their future.
By using existing materials and classrooms, old students will have art workshops with preschoolers. Using a similar strategy to Story Corp., students will privately make audio recordings that will be paired with the student’s art work to create videos.

The videos will then we uploaded on a gallery page of the Speaks website to share with a greater audience putting their stories and wishes out there and giving them a voice. By looking at patterns and seeing key or repeating words these videos can be used to explore the commonalities amongst the students.
